In Alice in Wonderland, the author illustrates Alice and the world around her with many different and bright colors. In a way, it's very hypnotic and eye catching. In Coraline, however, the color palette was more on the dark and mysterious side. The movie starts off gloomy and a rainy vibe. For example, we are both curious about the outside world and want to live life with a purpose. Coraline's motivation for exploring is where we are different. I never felt neglected from my parents and my brother and I have always been friends. As for my life journey, I want to experience more and get out of my comfort zone. At the end of the movie Coraline is so grateful for her family and I am grateful for mine. After watching Coraline, I got to see and break down who she was as a person and how she really felt. For example, Coraline had to move to a new house, and a new school. I went through something similar and I understood the pressure and loneliness of leaving your friends behind. Something different between Coraline and I is how she approached the situation. When I was in this issue, I addressed the problem with my parents to sit down and talk about how I really felt about moving and such. Coraline, however, went straight to shutting out her parents and wanting a new life.
