I would then ask them why they think that only Mexican people would do a jobs such as this. Based upon his/her answer I would tell them that when I hear a comment like that, it sound like you are saying that Mexicans are limited to manual labor which is not the case. Then, let the student know that comments like that will not be tolerated.
