Tuesday, August 3, 2021 — for the first class of the week, Teacher Ann has explained to us about what is MUET. She explained to us about the test component that include Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. She also said that it is veryyyyyyy easy for us to have high marks since the format have been changed from the previous format of this subject. Not to mention that she want all of her students to get at least band 3.0.

Thursday, August 5, 2021 — for the second class of MUET which is yesterday, we have our online class on telegram. Teacher Ann explained to us about Listening test very detailed. She explained about the weighting, maximum score, the duration of the test, number of texts, how many text types and etc. I think have a little bit of idea about the first component of the test. Thanks to Teacher Ann's guidance. After she spend us some time, Teacher Ann gave us two types of task. One is for listening and the other one is to test our knowledge about agreement of subject and predicate. I tried my best to did well on both task but i think i'm still lack in many ways. But still, thanks to this task, i did learned a few things.

On the first week of school , Teacher Ann introduced us to basic and main topics in MUET. We got exposed to new formats and text components. She explained us about the marking scheme and scores to achieve an average band for our MUET. Besides , she also gave us activities on listening test and subject verb agreement. We realised that STPM is unlike SPM English. We did an ice breaking activity by publishing about ourselves in a site which she provided us with to introduce ourselves.

In this week i had learned so many things about english. I had learned about listening who so important which can have during the examination soon. In this listening topic my teacher guided me step by step how to do this part so easily start from pre-listening to a second listening. In the previous class , Teacher Ann has explained to us some new formats in MUET since we are still new so i guess that we can gain some knowledge and try to understand of what Teacher Ann already mention to make it more easier for us. MUET is actually not too easy or not that difficult but just remember that it is not impossible if you are working hard. Believe or not, hard works betrays none. Other than that , Teacher Ann also gave us a task which are listening test and subject verb agreement practices. I'm so happy for my class that most of us score average for the listening test so i hope that we can maintain our momentum until STPM. I do understand subject verb agreement but not gonna lie sometimes i'm kinda confused with vocabulary which makes me careless during answering a question. But i will promise to myself to improve by practicing a lot of practices. Lastly , to those who are reading this , I hope you are doing well. No matter what happen , please never ever try to give up because great things take time. There is no failure except in no longer trying.

in this week i have learned about MUET. especially about listening, where we will be able to listen to the sound twice and the most important thing is, we should read the question first, so it will be easier for us to find out the answer. also, i love the way how teacher ann makes everything clear, i think i have no problem in learning MUET, and the best part is, i even more love about the task teacher ann has given to me, where i can check my answer and find out where i am wrong, where my weakness and improve it.

I think i have learned a lot of new things been here for a week . My teacher always give her 100% to help me going through this week so i dont have any issues about doing my homework for this subject . This week, teacher Ann taught us about MUET exam format.Also, teacher Ann give us a simple grammar task about verb agreement and listening test. Teacher Ann also told us to read MUET book page 1-9. Overall, the class was fun and I completely enjoyed and learned so much in this previous lesson. <3
