I would call the chapter that because it was explaining how Alex, who was a

Tsarmina "tortured" them by eating a plate full of goodies in their faces when they were hungry and try'ed to leak information out of them but Ferdy and Coggs kept on refusing. So, Tsarmina's lack of mercy made them starve, and be sent in different cells. Gingivere helped them by sharing his food with them and he's figuring a plan to escape when Chibb comes.
