Egypt is on the continent of Africa which is north of Sudan and east of Libya which is also the relative location of Egypt. Egypt's absolute location is 27 north and 30 east. A positive impact about the location is the powerful Mediterranean coast that makes trade easy in Egypt and the Nile river that makes agriculture possible.

Egypt is in a desert climate region in the Sahara desert with the exception of the Nile river. This means that a civilization in a desert climate can be protected by the desert since it acts as a natural barrier while also isolated by the climate and always forced to find natural resources. People could be positively impacted by this climate because a desert acts as a natural barrier and therefore protecting civilizations in this climate from invaders because the hot and dry climate and lack of resources means invaders have to bring a plentiful supply of water and other resources or they will die of dehydration. However, people living in this climate region are negatively impacted because they are isolated and deserts don't normally have resources that are essential for a civilization so these are key in why this certain climate is uninhabitable.

Egypt is a very big exporter on petroleum which is a type of nonrenewable crude oil that is pumped from underground and is used to operate machinery and everyday vehicles. This benefits society in Egypt because Egypt exports around 683,000 barrels of oil everyday and is also ranked 27th in the world. This is big on the economy since oil is used everyday across the globe so money income is big for Egypt. This could be used to benefit the people in Egypt since the government could use that income for homeless shelters, rescue packages and create more jobs. But the mass oil production can be negative because petroleum emits a lot of greenhouse gasses which contributes to global warming. This is a fact because the average temperature has risen by almost 2 degrees Fahrenheit since 1880. This is bad because since oil is a nonrenewable resource this means that if people think short-term, if oil runs out completely then stock markets worldwide would crash and since working at oil rigs and reserves create jobs then this would force many big companies and people out of business. Countries would run low on money so governments can't step in with any money to boost economy's.

The main form of transportation in Egypt is the railway system. The Egyptian railway system is the oldest railway network in Africa and the middle east. This is beneficial for people in Egypt because if everyone uses public transportation this is very environmentally friendly which is important because if a country is friendly toward the environment than a country could have different benefits such as better financial savings, lower energy costs and more. This could also negatively impact a country because public transportation can sometimes be unreliable ( Off time etc). Many people have jobs so if too many people rely on public transportation then this could lead to serious problems.

A major landform in Egypt is the Nile river. This landform is important because it makes soil good for agriculture and makes trading to other countries easier because the Nile river flows through 11 different countries so Egypt can acquire natural resources that other countries have that Egypt doesn't. This could positively impact society because if a country has an array of natural resources then it could become more powerful economy wise. The Nile river is also beneficial for agriculture because the water provides fertile soil and drinking water. This is important because many people across the world don't have drinking water but the people living beside the Nile river do. Good agriculture is also important because millions of people eat fruits and vegetables and the country could make a lot of money by exporting these goods.
