Indium is used in phones for the screens. It is found in zinc mines since it isnt common or has major deposits. It can't run out but the amount that would be found from rocks would not supply our demand. Other metals used in smart phones are alsorunning out. Palladium is majorly used for the capacitor is also used in automobile and jewlery production. 15 tons are used just in cell phones even thou it covers less than .02 percent of it. We are getting rid of metals deposits of this earth and in less than a century most of the rare metals would be gone and only in small particles throughout the world.
