Introception:- Whilst standing out my body altered me of how is was humid and all though warm the rain falling on my skin was cool, the wind was warm.

Olfactory:- I could smell flowers from near by, and the rain as it rolled through.

Visual:- I could seem the high contrast from the canola fields to the darkness of the sky. I could see a house that was burnt down, trees, the dirt, light traffic coming and going.

Auditory:- I could hear the wind as it brushed across my ears and hear it through the leaves. I could also hear the cars approaching, the gravel under my feet and the horses in the distance.

Whilst I was on my country visit I remembered some traumatic experiences from my life including a house fire and other traumas that occurred in towns where the canola fields grew. However, the longer I stood there the more I felt relief and then happiness as I reflected upon my personal growth and how I had overcome my trauma and moved forward.

Music:- The sounds of the breeze, rain, and crunching of the gravel is all types of music. As it all requires listening and hearing the soundscapes through deep listening and quiet. (New, 2009)

Movement:- The outdoor environment is demonstrating movement this is completed through the trees and clouds. The tree's branches and leaves moved side to side or forward and backwards in the breeze. The clouds were moving and changing as the rain blew in. (Tedx Talks, 2018)

The canola fields remebered me of the country town of Warracknabeal where they have harvest seens and the roads are full of grain tracks coming and going.

The house reminds me of being and surviving a house fire. I also think of my hopes and dreams not only for myself but my family like how lovely it would be to have a touch of country towns and a bit of land whilst also being in close proximity of work, school and shopping.

The roads remind me of those in country towns and those that i used to walk on when i lived with my husband and his parents. I would go for walks with mum and feel more intouch with nature and place.

The mountains remind me of driving to my dads current place and how thry are so open and a place that looks full of adventure and possibility.

The tree reminds me of when i was younger and had a love and passion of taking photos in particular that of landscapes.

The house represents Ella's past and trauma and the canola fields and mountains represent opportunity for growth and change whilst the road and tree represents the journey with its ebbs, flows and mystery.

Throughout this unit i have observed that storytelling my way of expressing and disecting my past and trauma and looking at the brightside.

We could also later introduce Dadirri practices by encouraging children to build connections to themselves and the land and allowing them to let their thoughts flow (Ungunmerr, 1988)

When we are in the room we could have soundscapes that have been recorded from the sounds within our community and allow this to support children as soft background noise. We have currently been listening to sounscape playlists on spotify and this allows children to calm.

We could also introduce simple meditations such as Moshi and sleepaws or even Cosmic Kids Zen Den which allow children to be intune with their bodies and exercise different skills such as listening, and understanding of their self and senses.
