They teach the adolescents about substance abuse and how to manage their medications properly, and there is a rehabilitation program that allows them to take a break from the “normal” world. The adults receive care from therapists, psychologists and other doctors to help them get through their journey. They work their way to being capable of caring for children or grandchildren by doing therapy (physical and mental care) every day to ensure they are ready.

I think that resilience is a good thing to have in your skill set. It's important to know how to cope with traumatic or saddening events without forgetting about who you are and who can become. Resilience is about never giving up and becoming the best you that you possibly can, and every journey will be different. It doesn't matter how long it takes you, as long as you feel like you and are happy with who you are.
