ECECD invites you to a Health and Wellness Webinar titled “Empowering Caregivers: Routines for Teaching New Skills to Toddlers with Autism Spectrum Disorder.” The session will be presented by Dr. Alice Bravo, Director of the Applied Behavior Analysis Programs at the University of Washington.

The webinar will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 12–1 p.m. via Zoom. Spanish interpretation will be available. No registration is required, and participants may request a certificate of completion following the event.

Title: Designing with the End in Mind: Data-Driven Inquiry and Development for New Mexico Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education

Dr. Sarah Wiegand, Co-Principal Investigator, New Mexico State University

What is the purpose of this research? You are invited to participate in a research study about early intervention, early childhood special education, and inclusive education in New Mexico. The purpose of this study is to understand how early childhood educators, higher education faculty, and program administrators view inclusion and how the state can better support a workforce that meets the needs of all children and families, especially those who are from marginalized communities.

This research will help inform improvements in early childhood licensure and teacher preparation programs in New Mexico. This consent form contains important information about this project and what to expect if you decide to participate.
