There are many theories I can formulate of why the rivers of Mesopotamia were so important to the people who settled there. For example, one theory I can formulate is that they used the river to water their crops. Another theory I can formulate is that they could've possibly used the water to drink. My third theory I can formulate is they used the rivers to catch fish as food. Evidence to support these theories is the fact that I learned that the people of Mesopotamia used irrigation to get water from the river to their crops without having to carry water in buckets or a container. Evidence to support my second theory is because humans need to drink water to survive so they drank the water they needed from the river. Evidence to support my third theory is because people fish in things like rivers, oceans, and lakes for food so this would tell me that they possibly used the river to get food. However, most of the people who lived in Mesopotamia would most likely be planting, farming, and collecting crops to eat instead of actually catching organisms to eat.

                 Today In History
October 23rd, 1983
A suicide truck bomb kills 241 Marines and another suicide truck bomb kills 51 paratroopers.

There are theories. I can formulate why the rivers of Mesopotamia were so important to the people. For example I can formulate is that they use the river to water their crops. Another theory is that they use the water to catch fish as food . Also my third theory is that they use the river to drink enough water. The cite that I have is that In class we learned what how the people of Mesopotamia used irrigation to make their crops and catch their food and also drink the river. My other cite is that people need water and food to survive or else they would die. Also my last cite is that you can fish at other different communities such as lake, oceans, rivers. Some people of Mesopotamia transport their food and water their homes and also different communities. When people of Mesopotamia grow crop in gardens
THIS DAY In HISTORY
1983
A suicide truck bomb kills 241 people. Also another truck kills 51 troopers .

Another theory is that they use irrigation and their crops would still get water during the hot, and dry summer. My last theory is that they used boats for transportation.

This Day in History,

1925, Johnny Carson was born in Iowa

Yes, I can formulate many theories on why the rivers that surround Mesopotamia was so important to the people of Mesopotamia. One theory I have is that people of Mesopotamia use water for transportation and to trade with other communities. They use this same water source to farm and create an abundance of food for the trades. This made the Mesopotamia a prospering community during the early civilizations era. They used this water for catching fish and to drink. This water source provided all the resources a community needed to survive. The water also provided shelter for the people of Mesopotamia, because it made it harder from invaders to surround Mesopotamia

Today in History
October 23, 1983,

A suicide bomber attacked a military camp, killing over 200 marines.
