Deviance it's about all them questions which are about morality, right and wrong stuff or good and evil!
Deviance refers to behavior that falls outside the norm but with no intention to harm or break the rules.
Gambling
Gambling has had a big impact on football and it surely has changed it. Many football fans gamble on this sport, this is probably because out of the several companies all of them have options to bet on football matches and they are all advertised worldwide. They are even at football games, as most stadiums have a betting company present at the game and allow the fans that came to watch the game to bet on the match. This all persuades fans to have a go at it, even though it might seem like it’s fun, it can really affect people in long-term effects, one example is by making them addicts, which means that they would bet high amounts of money many times during a week.
Hooliganism
Hooliganism is described as disruptive behavior. In football it is a massive issue, this is because it’s gradually becoming as popular as it was in UK in 1970’s, when many hooligan firms started becoming known, leaving their marks during big local derbies. In those times hooliganism was used as a cover for major crimes, specifically theft and burglary. Before it was too late, going into the 1990’s, the UK government cracked down any football related violence to a much lower level, where UK fans now tend to have a better reputation abroad. In some European countries it is still very bad, because their government hasn’t done much about it or the factors that they put in place simply don’t work. Hooliganism is bad as it frightens other fans, who then decide not to watch their team play and it’s also a very unsafe environment for the footballers to play in. I mentioned that it’s gradually becoming popular, due to the fact that many fans are nervous of visiting Russia for the 2018 World Cup, as they are known for rough hooligans.
Match Fixing
Match fixing is when someone pays huge amounts of money to either bribe the referee or the club in exchange of getting what he wants, whether it’s a specific team to win or a specific situation to occur. The most recent match fixing story that came out to the press in the UK was on December 2013, which was ‘Sun on Sunday Investigation’ that involved former player of Reading FC and Portsmouth FC, Sam Sodje. He claimed that in attempt to get a red card and £70,000 he punched Jose Baxter twice during a match between Portsmouth and Oldham Athletic. This is one of the examples how football can be fixed, however there are more ways that can manipulate this sport. In recent football seasons, match fixing hasn’t been occurring that we know of, so far.

Positives
1- Makes more entertainment
2- In match fixing it makes a more competitive
Negatives
1- Gambling can affect people in long term and make them addicted
2- Unsafe environments for the footballers to play in.
