The best thing that I've done for my country is by not being toxic in social media and not posting inappropriate and sensitive matters, since social media is a place where you can meet different people of different nationalities connecting each other through common goals and interests, and I would rather not dishonor my country because of me just posting an inappropriate post which could lead to other people with different nationalities think poorly of Filipinos.
Another is by voting a proper politician who will really walk the talk and accomplish his job to serve our country and his people, for choosing a couple of proper politicians can help us improve our community and possibly our country.

I really don't want to be involve with politics because my relatives already participated  in this field of work  and there is  a dirty and unfair play, most of the politicians are corrupt and mostly don't care about the country and the people they were suppose to help, that's also according to my relatives.
But other than that a I am normal average adult Filipino person living in this Country and I am proud of my Nationality.

I participated "Global Youth Day" last November of 2010 a day that every youth in the world doing the same things on that day. That time we offer songs, prayers, and enough amount of goods to the people who really in needed in that neighborhood at that time, to lighten up the burden that they are experiencing at that time.

That time it can be called "Bayanihan" but in a religious manner because it is related to the ministry.

My perception was somewhat changed when two people were newly elected as mayors in Pasig and Manila. Through Mayor Sotto and Mayor Moreno’s work and love for the citizens of the Philippines, especially their effectiveness in dealing with this ongoing worldwide pandemic, I am starting to think that there’s still hope for the Philippines to have a good and transparent governance.


“What’s the best that I’ve done for my country?”

One of the best things I have done for the country was during my first job. I have the opportunity to helped small scale miners particularly in the Baguio area by fabricating and testing the capability of nanomembrane material. This material was able to remove heavy metals in miners’ wastewater from higher to lower concentrations to comply with the DENR requirements.

I was also able to give pro bono consultations to my alma mater for their ISO 9001:2015 certification.

For me I would not rather join politics because politics is full of hatred, unfair, biases, corruption and many other things. When you join the politics there are always dirty or monkey businesses happening all the time. Politics in the Philippines are not always going for the success of the country, but goes for the money. Most politician are just good at talking but horrible in their task.

Practicing being eco- friendly 

By using environment friendly items like bags than single use plastics and avoiding littering in the streets. Practicing the segregation of trash and applying the 3 R’s to have a clean and healthy community. 

Be proud to be a Filipino 

Being nationalistic is simple as singing the National Anthem while standing still and your right arm in your chest. Being proud of the local products in the country
