         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Based upon:</strong><br><strong>-</strong> children come to school to learn a certain skills<br><strong>-</strong> vocational education<br><strong>-</strong> lot of practical work<br><strong>-</strong> the teacher is more of a trainer, they have the skills and try and pass it on<br><strong>Aims for the children:</strong><br><strong>- </strong>they learn the trade they want to go into<br><strong>-</strong> efficient workers<br><strong>-</strong> children get to express themselves<br><strong>Types of assessment:<br>- </strong>formal written and oral exams<br><strong>-</strong> practical exams<br><strong>Problems:<br>- </strong>are they training children or teaching them?<br><strong>-</strong> will the skills be transferable?<br><strong>-</strong> what happens if a child decides they do not want to do it anymore?<br><br>Sir Stephen Miles ; Chairman of Local Engineering Company<br><br>An example of this would be an Art college or a Technology school, <em>UCA</em>.</div>]]></description>
