Racism is a global issue. The actions of a few people may speak for many others who choose not to speak out. The problem with reducing racism to actions of a few people is that it diminishes the meaning of it. People can just shake it off and dismiss it as merely the actions of a few 'bad eggs'. It makes racism seem more “natural”, something that happens to everyone on a daily basis, and just normalizes it when in reality it is something more and deserves recognition; so those who are faced with this oppression can identify this ignorance and bring attention to this matter. Racism should not be let off lightly or seen as something that is normal. Racism is something that leaves scars on people and it is historically embedded within generations and cannot be erased or forgotten that easily.
