We also discussed the progression of medicine over time and how it is always evolving. This opened my eyes into a field I never really thought about. Something that I found very interesting was that people going through chemo have a very special diet because of the medicine that they are on. We also spoke to the head of the nursing department and the vice president of the hospital. I was impressed with how many different people and different diets a dietician encounters and has to prepare in just one day.
