         <description><![CDATA[<div>One new thing that I learned about computers in this video was just the sheer size of the computers that were used in the 1940's and the 1950's. they where most often the size of whole rooms to calculate what today a average laptop can do in seconds and that those computers would in turn take hours or sometimes days to calculate even a handful of problems at that time. I also found it interesting that one of the computers that was one of the first to use vacuum tubes also did more calculations than all humans that existed before it throughout human history. I also can make a connection to what we are learning in class right now by how we are about to learn more about Binary, Decimal notation, and Hexadecimal notation in the coming weeks. All are forms of network addressing for particularly IP addresses. The logical anchor points in any given network to allow for a focal point to direct data to a certain sectors of the internet.</div>]]></description>

         <title>I have never heard of an XOR before and it&#39;s got me thinking if in programing when using boolean expressions if when using OR is like XOR or if they use both OR &amp; XOR as I never used an OR and also an AND. The setup for XOR really got me thinking because I was seriously wondering how it would be laid out circuit-wise since I have been messing with circuit stuff on Minecraft (Redstone machines). I truly enjoyed the explanation of how they did this. -McKenna Aldach</title>

         <title>So I have heard from my previous course talk about the history of technology mentioning the abacus but never how to use it. I was always interested in knowing how it worked since, in some cultures, students at a young age are taught to only use the abacus and learned to be insanely quick about it, solving math problems in the billions in seconds. -McKenna Aldach</title>
