They meat up and talked about the fate of Germany and the postwar. Stalin wanted to keep Germany divided into occupation zones because Stalin didn't want the Soviet Union to get threatened but Germany again.

The reason why the United States had the most responsibility because Roosevelt helped with Stalin's view on the situation. Roosevelt wanted to keep Germany in zones because it would have the new world peacekeeping organization. Roosevelt assumed that in time all the zones would be brought together in a reunited Germany.

During the time the flow to Cuba of Soviet weapons included nuclear missiles. Kennedy responded with a warning that America was not going to tolerate nuclear weapons in Cuba.
