They are important to me because top health issues are faced by Maine’s people. Maine needs roughly 84,000 more homes available by 2030. About half of those homes, 40,000, are to remedy historic lack of construction. In 2021, at least 34 children in Maine, died in tracked incidents that were associated with abuse or neglect or had occurred after a history of family involvement.
