often many plants grow close together and grow closer to the ground. Also the plants have adapted to have a fuzzy coat in order to stay warm and helps protect them from the tundras cold weather. 

As for animals its quite similar many animals have adapted to having many thick layers of fat and fur in order to keep warm.

An animal adaptation that is used often rodents is burrowing.  Also another thing is for example is Snowshoe Hare changes fur color depending on the season like brown in the summer and white in the winter. A animal adaptation is they need to be able to deal with cold winters and hot summers. Some animals hibernate or migrate during the winter to avoid the cold. Animal adaptations in the Tropical Rain forest would be like Camouflage for the animals to hide from their predator. Mimicry to confuse predators to make them think they're dangerous but in reality harmless.Poison to protect themselves from harm.

An adaptation for animals in the desert is living underground or resting in burrows during the heat of the day. Some Animals get the moisture they need from their food, so some don't need to drink much water, if any. Others live around the edges of deserts, where there are more plants and shelter.
