1. It made people more aware about fire hazards, e-candle usage and facts about Diwali.
2. It was a decorative and unique gift and festive decor for Diwali.

Two things I would want to improve about my product:
1. It could have been neater.
2. The English Diwali greeting could be more visible.

The impact on the audience/client:
1. My product affects the people it was created for as they enjoy their gift and thus their mood improves. It lights up the house and brightens the room it’s in. 
2. It’s also much safer for them as there was a much bigger risk for fire hazards before. Now they can simply place it anywhere without worrying.  Now they could easily leave the candles and diyas on at night without worrying about something catching fire and somebody coming to check every few minutes for the same reason. It’s also much more convenient and saves electricity.


Challenges I faced while making my product:
I had to change my plans for my product quite a bit as the materials weren’t available or the timings were changed but in the end I managed to make my product much before the deadline.

Two things you would want to improve about your product
1. I would want to add a fine finish in  the edges of my product so that it looks better.
2. Also some places the paint looks blank because of the brush size, I would like to improve it.

1. They feel special after looking at the product 
2. They also liked it because of the colours.


Challenges faced while making your product.

Some challenges were when the glue or the paint would dry it would take a lot of time to be done and then once it would dry out it would take a lot of time.

There are two things I can improve upon which is the colour of the product and the size of the product. The size of my product was small and that is why the audience did not like it much. There was An impact on the audience/client. They really liked my product especially the shape. They thought that is unique but there was something which they did not like which was the colour of the product. The colour was orange but they thought that I could have taken some other one. The challenges I faced were the part when I was decorating my product. The paint was not coming on the product and so it always stayed orange colour. Due to some problems in the paint, I couldn’t decorate it. So that is why my product did not turn out so good aesthetically. I still think I can improve upon it.

1. The aesthetics of my product suit the festival- my product is for Christmas and it includes the colours green, red, gold, and silver. These are all Christmassy colours so aesthetics-wise my product is successful.
2. My product serves its purpose: my product is for people to gift/give to each other on Christmas, and my card is designed in the way that it suits that need

Two things you would want to improve about your product
1. Use completely eco-friendly materials: in my product everything is recycled or reused. However, there are parts of my cad which are made with materials that are not eco-friendly. 
2. I could have drawn the mistletoe equally on both sides. It was slightly more on the left side then the right

Impact on the audience/client.

I feel my festive decor would have a big impact on people who give out Christmas cards to their friends and family on Christmas. It will impact them, by helping them when they are looking for cards to give because they can buy it and give it to the person they wanted to. It will also impact them by making it easier for them, instead of having to make the cards themselves, they can buy them and just add their message on the inside where I provided space for that. It will also impact them by giving them ideas to create other unique cards, because they will realise how simple this is to make, but yet is surprising just because it opens from the middle. 

Challenges faced while making your product:

1. I had to change the materials because I could not find what I needed
2. I needed to draw the mistletoe equally on both sides on my products

I did not have a specific client, but my parents were inspired by the eco friendly Christmas decoration and told me that they would spread awareness as it would be much better for the environment.

- The tape kept coming off, and I had to keep replacing it 
- It was really hard to draw on paper mache 
- It was hard to make it, and the designs on it, neat

The two highlights which made your product successful.
Yes, I think my design was a success as in my feedback I have seen that most of the things that I had planned in the ACCESS FM I have followed and therefore my product has been a success. Also my evaluator also mentioned facts like my opening of the diya was very good and this would be a very good use during the festival of diwali. Also my texture and shape of my diya holder was very unique and good because a cylindrical shaped diya is hard to find. Also the feedback tells me that the texture of my design is very elegant. This was part of the aesthetics. The function of the diya was also very good and clear as the evaluator was able to understand that the diya had two purposes. One purpose of the diya is to give light during the festival of diwali. The other purpose of the diya is to reduce the sale of plastic diyas which are harmful to the environment. Also the materials that I have used for the diya are good and biodegradable which doesn’t cause any harm to the environment although the decorations I have used are made out of plastic because that was the only decorations I had so I should improve on that part of the diya. The size of the product is perfect for the end user which makes me say that it is a successful project.

I couldn't contact my client but my parents told me that my product was good and they liked the product and the design of it

The paint didn’t dry fast 
Sometimes blob of paint just burst
The cutting of the opening of the diya I couldn’t do alone so I took help of my father to cut it with a saw

1. My product was aesthetically pleasing as it was multicoloured. It has all the colours used in holi, therefore not hurting holi’s culture.
2. My product also has an abstract pattern. It has irregular shapes connected to each other. Those shapes have colour inside them.

1. I would want to improve the rigidity of my mask, because it is quite fragile, and the fear of it tearing apart is always there.
2. My mask also is very loose. My string is big, and will fit make my mask fit an adults head, as it is small for a child’s head like mine.


Impact on the audience/client.
1. I think this mask has a positive impact for the audience/client. That is because I have taken feedback about my product straight from my clients, and they have shared positive information.
2. My client liked my mask also because it was environmentally friendly. Having environmentally friendly products in this generation is very important, as our planet is getting polluted due to our carelessness with products. 


Challenges faced while making your product.

1. One of the challenges I faced with my product was putting paper mache on the balloon. The paper mache always fell off, a nd it was very hard to stick them onto the balloon. 
2. Also, I could not make the dip for the paper mache properly, I never knew the proper amount, and I either made too much or too less. Also, keeping the dip fresh was hard. I needed to keep the paper mache dip in the fridge all night, and there wasn’t enough space for it. But, we managed.

1. My product was able to meet my expectations for its function. I tested it and it was collapsible and this makes it easy-to-store.
2. My product’s aesthetics look quite good to me. I wanted a fun, Halloween themed, jack ‘o lantern-like product and I think my product could easily capture the jack ‘o lantern features (such as the faces on each side) and it is multicoloured with Halloween themed colors all around.

Two things I would want to improve:
1. To improve next time, I would definitely want to use a stronger material such as cardboard to make my product. Using a stronger material would make my lantern more rigid and I think it would look better. I would have used this if we had access to the materials in school, but since there is a pandemic going on, we can’t go outside and we can’t have access to more materials.
2. I would want to use a stronger light next time. The LED tea lights I used were considerably good, but if I had LED lights that were had a stronger illuminance, then my lantern would look brighter from the inside.

Impact on the audience/client:
1. One impact my lantern had on my clients was that since my lantern is reusable, it can save up a lot of money since they won’t need to keep buying Halloween lantern every year.
2. Another impact my lantern had on my clients was that since the lantern is collapsible, it makes storage saving very easy and it is quite sensible because storage is important and the more we can save, the better.

Challenges I faced while making the my product:
1. One of the challenges I faced was sticking by my action plan. For one of the classes, I wrote in my action plan that I will be completing cutting out the faces in my lantern and painting it. I was able to cut out the faces in time, but I wasn’t able to finish painting. Due to this, I had to finsih the paint job in the next class.
2. Another challenge I faced was getting the proportions of the latern to be accurate. When I was measuring out the parts and drawing outlines of where I had to cut, it wasn’t always correct. Someitmes my measurements were wrong or my lines weren’t straight. At last, I ended up trimming a little bit of the lantern because it wasn’t the same all around.

1. My dada was really happy because I though of him.
2. He really liked using it and it actually worked. 

The challenge that I faced while making the product: 
1. I did not have enough resources to make my product look the best that it could. 
2. I also couldn’t get the shape of the boat quite right so i had to see many options to do so.
