The indigenous people's lives and culture is affected by the cutting down of trees, because their culture and essential resources depend and are trees. Even though some people do benefit from the cutting down of trees. Some people, for example, are provided with meaningful jobs and other people are provided with furniture. But some animals can't live without a healthy forest. As a result other essential resources are lost. Our group decided, off this information , to give timber a sustainability score of 3 out of 5.

Are peoples lives affected in a negative way?

Large scale timber harvesting has a effect on the Eco-system witch means people are loosing there forests and animals are loosing there habitats.

Are cultures affected in a negative way?

To the people who live outdoors it is because it is cutting down the habitat around them that they always rely on.

Is there a negative long-term impact on the environment? We must protect what remains of our forests so that they can continue to provide us with essential resources and help us maintain our culture .

No because they are cutting down the trees and the animals are dying.
