  • The song Gold Digger by Kanye West is a popular song that has a very bad view on women because it shows that a man can't trust a woman without her taking/using him for her own personal gain.  
  • The song is very clearly based on women being manipulating, in the sense that women use men just to get something out of it.
  • Its harmful to women because it puts women in a bad spot because the songs is saying that men should worry about women trying to use them and  breaks the trust there should be between couples . 
  • If there could be something changed about the song would be most or all of the song because throughout the whole song it is diminishing women to a bad reputation.

  • The song Animals by Maroon 5, talks about an animal (a man) hunting down his prey (a woman) and the prey not being able to escape from the predator. The song can be depicted as sexually harassing and in some cases sounds like rape. 
  •  I believe that the song as a whole pretty much dehumanizes women to something less than a person, and it portrays men as a more dominant and powerful gender.  
  • The effect that the song has is very negative and harmful because it encourages men to take advantage of women.
    •  The song depicts women as weak and makes men believe that women are inferior and less important.
  • If the song could change anything it would be the lyrics and the who the song is targeting because the song promote violence and it shows inequality between men and women.

  • The ad has a women being controlled by wires that are from the tv and the man at the end getting his hand on the remote planning to do something with it. 
  • I feel its based on the idea that women are less important and should be controlled by the men to their own standard because of the aggressive way the man in the ad got the remote. 
  • Its harmful because according to the ad from Direct TV, all guys really want is a wife that is controllable with the push of a button.
  • If it could be changed, it would  be having both the man and the woman having nothing holding them up at all to show equality between both gender and to show that one gender doesn't have all the power/dominance in a relationship.
