This creates debates, because each country wants to claim the delicious desert as their own. Despite originating from Australia and new Zealand, it was actually name after a Russian ballerina (Anna Pavlova). Pavlova is crispy on the outside, and soft and light in the inside.

-Pranitha

The underarm bowling incident took place on the first of february 1981 when Australia played against new New zealand in on day international match that took place in the Melbourne cricket ground. It happened when It was the last ball of the last over of the innings when New Zealand was required to hit a six to secure the victory. The captain of the Australian team instructed his younger brother to roll the ball across the ground resulting the batsman to defend securing Australia the win. Although this ball was legal at that time many people regarded it as an unfair play against New Zealand. Before the lead up to this match the series was on a draw with both teams winning a match each. The third match had a;ready seen some unfair play with Snedden a New Zealand player got Greg chappel out at 58 runs. The umpire did not call it a catch as he thought that it had already hit the ground. Afetr various arguments the umpire took a review confirming that it had indeed been a fair catch. Trevor Chappel the brother of Greg Chappel was forced to bowl the last over with New Zealand requiring fifteen runs to win. The first five balls of the last over were produced for a boundary two doubles and two wickets. In the last ball New Zealand required 6 runs to tie in which case the match would be replayed or seven runs to win which would be a rare case. Greg chappel told his brothe to bowl underarm giving Australia the win

Then over 100 000 Aussies and New Zealanders volunteered to take part in the war. Some of them were taken to the Russian and United State Fronts under the order of Prime Minister Billy Hughes. Around 14 000, the largest group altogether, went to the cape of Gallipoli in Turkey, where they met the forces of the strong empire of the Ottoman Empire.
