Romans discovered the recipe for a substance known as concrete. Concrete is great for making roads.  Roman roads extended across the entire Roman empire.

3.Romans used concrete stones to make roads with cool patterns. The Romans used the stones all over the entire country making it very impressive. Their aqueducts were underground and connected the lake to the cities. Their aqueducts stretched from the mountains or lakes to many Roman cities.
2.The Roman aqueducts were usually slanted from mountains to cities. Their aqueducts looked like big bridges. The aqueducts could stretch for many miles.
3. The Romans did not have purifiers on their water and sometimes got sick. The Roman aqueducts had pipes that connected the bridges to the lakes. Their aqueducts were very decorative just to show that they were great builders.
