Students becoming "deaf" to some of the phrases that we use. Feel like the "big kids" are "over" pompoms. Wonder if adults feel like this and don't give them the pompoms. Tickets were used at Redoubt. Earn so many of a type of pompom or a certain number and they get something for themselves first and then they go into the pompom jar. Kids are only as excited as we are. Still looking for something to hold the pompoms. Fill the school pompom jar so many times and we get a big super prize! Staff prizes for pompoms! 
TO DO: Start the staff competition and do a weekly blitz for pompom areas. ]]> 2019-01-14 22:59:31 UTC https://padlet.com/dkelly44/7u4h27r5r9cn/wish/320567055 New idea dkelly44 https://padlet.com/dkelly44/7u4h27r5r9cn/wish/330412320 I was thinking, as I led the 4th and 6th graders into the hallway for lunch, that I wish I had something special to reward the kids who were actually keeping a zero voice level in the hallway, like a fast pass card that lets you skip the line, or a private table card, where students could have a lunch table all to themselves with a few friends.  Since we were talking about individuals getting rewards the other day, I thought I would pass the idea on.  
Do you think we could come up with some small privileges like this that could be handed out every day to a few awesome kids?  It could be incorporated into pom poms, but something new and exciting to shake things up.

After the first couple of minutes of waiting, three students will be chosen to go in and get started. Passes will be kept at the gym somewhere for easy access.
