Cyberbully can be good, let me tell you why.

Cyberbullying is a different type of bullying that is through online things so people can harass you anytime they want. But there are downsides to it too. See, they can hurt you with words but they cannot hurt you physically. Also sending a message can also leave traces that are hard to be cleared, from that point you can finally have proof of the bullying. And the most important is that you can always leave with the click of a button.

2. Preventing Cyberbullying vs In Real Life Bullying

The thing is, Cyberbullying is always going to be a problem but knowing how to prevent it is always easier than in real life. For one in real life, you have to go to school and on your way home or during passing period, they could beat you up. But you can prevent cyberbullying by hitting 1 button, the block button. And on most sites, you could keep private messages invite-only or friend-only. So, it is much easier to stop bullying online than it is IRL or (In real life)

3. Physical effects of real life and why online is not nearly as bad as bullying in real life

A study here¹ shows that physical pressure (or hurting) someone puts them in a state of distress that will basically do anything that they say. But you cannot do that online. That makes the victims online automatically put at more of an advantage as they were before. What people getting bullied online can do is fight back. Because they cannot be physically hurt they can just pretend like they are not being hurt and just attack them. Eventually they will get bored or lose the “fight”. If most people would just realize these things cyberbullying would exist very little.

4. How it is easy to prove that someone is bullying you and why this can be a very good thing.

An average user cannot delete all traces of a sent text completely from their computer. A good example is if you download Process Hacker{href=https://processhacker.sourceforge.io/downloads.php, text=”blue”} search google chrome on process hacker then right click -> properties -> memory -> find strings -> max strings:4 -> then click enter you can actually find out searches and links you clicked on even if you cleared your search history. Also another one is if you install betterdiscord for discord.gg you can actually find a mod that brings back deleted messages and that is for most web apps. With this information, you can report it to police and there would be no way of a bully knowing how to delete that properly. If the authorities think that the severity is bad enough they could take action and if you were trying to prove that these people were bullying you this would be the perfect way to do it.

All in all cyberbullying can actually turn out to be the saving grace of your trauma. You could finally prove to the principal that you were the victim and not them or you could fight back and give them a taste of their own medicine and all at the same time learn how to stand up for yourself, also if you do not want to deal with all of that you can always block them. I feel like I have proven my care enough here in saying that cyberbullying is good.
