Jefferson was chosen to write the Declaration  of Independence in the year of 1775.In his statement "all men are created equal."That was cause for them to separate from England.Thomas did not get any help,ideas or ANY THING from books.But from his early days he had read many important books about freedom, he also talked to his teacher about things he had learned about.As Thomas wrote the Declaration of Independence he linked his thoughts and facts together. Jefferson's draft was shone to Franklin and Adams.
