I know that teammates are more than friends, they are family, we may fight all the time and hate each other but we are still a family. I know that people underestimate the sport of swimming. I know that people think it’s really easy and we can’t possibly get into shape fro swimming. Those people probably play sports like football, baseball, basketball, or they wrestle because they don’t know how hard it is to pull your body through the water and be able to do it for hours at a time. I know that most people run miles in their sports, well I swim miles and it’s not as easy as everyone thinks. I know how many laps are in a mile, how many meters in a mile and, I know the effort that is put into this sport. I know that we need more swimmers in the world. I know that noone seems to know anything about swimming until the Olympics and I know that bothers me.
