INFORMATION
Lucy & Yak began in depop where they first sold dungarees. From there, a website was created and the company was established in the uk. From the owner's basement to a warehouse, the company now has 13 employers.

We want to prove that everyone from production to customer can be happy. Our aim is to demonstrate that a clothing label can produce awesome unique clothing of a high quality, at the same time we want your experience and our customer service to be phenomenal every time without exception. But most importantly, our goal is to prove that you can do all of this without someone in the chain not receiving their fair share. We believe it doesn’t have to be at the expense of someone like some will have you believe. We think the system doesn’t have to be “winners and losers”. Because our name has a lot of rounded letters, the x-height looks really nice and constant especially when all the letters are lowercase. When in capital case the letter B creates a space adding a more bubbly fun feeling to the letters.

Poppins- each letter form is nearly monolinear with optical corrections applied to stroke joints. The x-height is set a lot higher in this font creating an overall more rounded word.

Nunito sans- is a well balanced sans-serif font. It’s very similar to Freoka but not as thick in weight. Although the letter a is different it doesn’t work as well with the overall word as it stops the round flow. 

Playfair Display- is more of traditional font.
