<title>I chose to learn about autism because my twin brother has ASD. He was diagnosed with high functioning autism in sophomore year. He used to struggle a lot when it came to expressing himself, making friends, and more. He was diagnosed with ADHD in 5th grade, but we knew that wasn&#39;t the full diagnosis. Even after learning that he had autism, there are still many things that I don&#39;t understand about him. Even though this project is focused on younger children, many of the things that I learned here apply to him now. I think that many of the symptoms he displayed when he was younger were tied to autism and we just wrote off the symptoms to him growing up. It is nice to see kids accepting their autism and creating a space for other autistic children to feel safe. I also thought it was interesting that they don&#39;t know how you get autism. It is thought that the disease is genetic, but no one knows yet.</title>

<title>This isn&#39;t a video about autism specifically but a tool used to calm an ASD child down. You can use it to relax them when they&#39;re angry or need to go to bed. It is also visually simulating for these children to watch the colorful beads move around the screen. This is a great tool for parents and teachers who may need to calm the child down in certain situations.</title>
