I listened to their music and it seemed to fit with my state of mind at the time being a bit rebellious. The music can be quite fast and loud which is how I like it but they do have some slower songs. They sing about the struggles and conflict in Northern Ireland mainly. I had not seen them at the time my mate introduced them to me and then one night I was watching the local news and it was announced that they were playing at the Mayfair in Newcastle that night. So I made a phone call to my mate and off we went to Newcastle about a forty mile trip. We both took our girl friends, the gig was fantastic, Bruce Foxton from the Jam was playing bass and the place was full of punks it was a brilliant atmosphere. Me and my mate were down the front having a jump about and having a great time. I have now seen the band loads of times and they have played the local town hall. I was at a gig during their thirtieth anniversary tour got the T shirt as they say. The band are still going today but haven't seen them for a while, like playing their songs on my guitar.
