The City of Angels gave me overwhelming awe. I felt a stew of emotions, as if I melded with the city: it's artists' pride, it's poor's woes, the call for greatness dueled with risk of catastrophe. A marker of ancient man, the cave paintings of Les Combarelles is one of the many caves in Europe that give me honor and pride in my blood. But not my blood as a European, but my blood as a Human being. My heart tells me, "We were here, you are home." 
A plethora of thoughts and realizations span into my mind, such as how old humanity as a whole actually is, and how far we've come from these caves.
