Daniel Yap has been salvaging unsold fresh produce from fruit and vegetable vendors, which he then distributes to community fridges, since 2018.
He were once a karung guni (rag and bone) salvaging cardboard and old televisions to eke a living.

I would nominate Marlina Yased. Having experienced her own financial struggles after being divorced , she empathized with her neighbour's worries about not having enough food to feed their children. She also had help and support from friends and other neighbours to make her hopes possible. Now she feeds about 30 families.

While diving in the sea to check on the health of the coral reefs, she saw a washing machine squashing a patch of corals and destroying them. She felt very disturbed by the sight and said that she had to do something about it to restore the corals.

she suffered a disability that weakens her muscles everyday, since she was 2.
Despite this, she still persevered, and now even entered the Paralympics. Which gave those with disabilities a chance to enter and help.
