This book was written by an Ecuadorian writer in 2010. It is a very interesting story, although a bit violent and evil. Its first pages detail a brutally beaten woman, this fact is related to an obsessed nun, which makes the story really exciting for me. However, for some conservative readers, this book comes to seem offensive and disappointing, since in its interior the sexual desires that a nun has towards a father of her student's family are detailed, although the most remarkable thing about this story is that this family manages to get out forward, despite of the evil that this nun does to destroy her home. I consider that this novel, despite the story of the evil nun, the monastic life is worthy of respect and the fact that a rotten apple that has strayed from the right path does not mean that faith in religious institutions should be lost.
