When teaching dance and gymnastics, one of the most significant and affective parts of you job is to encourage and develop your students confidence to create interesting and well executed responses to movement tasks. The more you can pinpoint what students are doing well and need to improve in dance and gymnastics the more confidence they will have, the better their performance will be and the more satisfaction and enjoyment they will get from the lesson. Of course good lesson planning, effective management and appropriate content all need to be in place for a successful lesson in which students feel valued, safe and able to success.

In this Padlet you will be practicing observing and describing how the body moves; how much energy the body uses to execute movement and the impact that has on expression. This element is often called EFFORT and most often experience through TIME and STENGTH of movement

Refresh your knowledge about the elements of movement analysis by watching the video again.
