constructivism is not GIVEN to you... it is not like a plate or a pen given by a teacher to you..

you BUILD the understanding your OWNSELF based on previous understadings (knowledge) that u already have in order to UNDERSTAND the new knowledge.

dont you see? when u watch stephen hawking video about the galaxy&universe... you were taught via the video (and by hawking) so much more knowledge about the knowledge BUT YET in reality (hakikatnya), once you are TAUGHT MORE.. in reality, only then you acutally LEARN so little from the KNOWLEDGE given by Mighty ALLAH!!!!!!

Actually, we do use BOTH and in my opinion both is better...remember.. when ever u learn new things... whether u like it or not.. you are actually using Constructivism!
But when you are processing information, i.e remembering a fact...(which is not new knowledge), then it is an aspect of cognitivism.

so BOTH is interacting. Cognitivism is what happens when you think... when u think about facts, memory, etc.
while constructivism is when you are challenged with new ideas.. new discoveries, new things you never learnt/came across before..then, that involve constructivism

thinking influence culture:

when majority of society THINKS about the same things, matter or issue, and over time.. it has become a habit/mindset... then that thought INFLUENCE culture.
example... society like "love drama" better then documentaries.

then , culture INFLUENCE thinking, is when CHILDREN begins to FOLLOW/IMITATE what the grown up/adults do. Everyone watches the "malay drama about LOVE only.. LESS on more useful, educational programs...then this become Culture INFLUENCE Thinking.

thus BOTH are related and form a Vicious Cycle of societal being misinformed about important issues like media and their impact on both thought and culture!
