Many of the jokes in our family originate from here and our family all shares the same sense of humor. When I got to the fourth part, I took a complete turn and realized this show was much more than just an action book. I realized the descriptive and unique personalities that each of the characters had. I appreciated the struggles that Malaka had regarding her life story and achieving the goal of reaching the American dream that her parents wished for her to have. However, as the end of that year approached, I began to appreciate the growth I had experienced while dissecting the novel page by page. Through the Great Gatsby, I learned the meaning behind symbolism, character description, and the use of colors to help paint a clear picture.
