Artifact 1: Behaviorism in Formal Learning

Description: For a unit on basic algebraic concepts in my high school mathematics class, I implemented behaviorist principles through a carefully structured reward system. Students earned points for completing homework assignments and actively participating in class discussions. Points were exchanged for small rewards, fostering a positive association with learning. The tangible incentives motivated students to consistently engage with the material, reinforcing key mathematical skills.

Reflection: The behaviorist approach proved effective in establishing a routine of consistent effort and participation. Students responded positively to the clear link between their actions and rewards, creating a conducive learning environment.
