It take 4 hour to arrive there from Bogotá.

The weather in sogamoso is cold, the temperature average is 10° c. There are many touristic places around the town, for example, Tota’s lake, the archaeological museum, the Pilita, Iza is a little town at the south of Sogamoso, there are termanl waters, good for the healt.

Tibasosa is another town near to Sogamoso, there celebrates the feijoa’s festival.

 Morca is a sanctuary dedicated to the O’s virgin, every first Saturday of the month, people going there taking long walks across the mountains. This sanctuary is opposite to Sogamoso.

Sogamoso every year celebrates the sun and steel’s festival, it’s between july 16 and 20.

There are tipical food restaurants like Susaca restaurant, El Bosque and Lake restaurant it’s beautiful. The restaurant Bosque is next to archealogical museum.
