Through use of objects and choice of subject, certain emotions and feelings can be emphasized and felt through the photograph. My double exposure piece conveys an ethereal and psychedelic feel. The photo attached is what I created through Photopea. You see a girl and within her, it's a random setting to you. To me, from the original picture of the landscape, it was a photo of people inside an ice cream shop that my friend took. Easily, a story can be created. The girl could be someone who just got out of a relationship and an ice cream shop with her significant other could be a place that holds special meaning; a first date or a regular hangout spot for them. A story that is being portrayed could easily move an audience over. The images exposure and opacity plays a big part. The final result for an example this photo below shows my local street. A capture of the moon I took. And the faded city buildings in the background almost overlapping the image. From this there is so much you can put together and the image kind of gives you this nostalgic feeling.
