There are many plants that are used for various medical conditions. Marijuana is a new upcoming plant that we are using. Although it is still illegal in most states, it has helped many people from cancer patients to people with seizures. I believe that is very important to take care of our plant life so that we can continue to use them for medicinal resources. The THC in the plant can reduce nausea and inflammation. The CBD in the plant can reduce seizures. Some recent studies are showing that marijuana can kill certain cancer cells. People would do whatever they wanted to increase profits. They wouldn't consider the health or safety of their practices either. I believe that animals would be treated even worse than they are now. No one would care about how clean or sanitary their meats/foods were. With out regulations and rules to follow, people could do whatever they wanted and I think it would eventually kill off our species. People would get sick, we may use up too many resources, and animals would die off too. I chose this picture because it shows a healthy planet and a planet that is depleted. With out proper regulations to keep animals, people, and food safe for consumption, I believe our population would drastically decrease.
