Flipgrid is so fun! It is a site where students can video themselves and upload it to their class page. We introduced ourselves and gave a brief background about our life! I really enjoyed watching everyone's videos and hearing them talk about themselves! I could see myself using this in the future for a group project!

3) Biography

This year we created a Biography. I think creating this was very important because it helps our classmates and more importantly our teacher get to know us! I enjoyed this activity because it let me show who I am as a person. I used this to see the personalities of my class mates and see how different everyone is!

4) Name Tent

We created name tints the first day of class that included our name and our picture. They were used as a name tag for our desks. This helped everyone remember each others names! They were also color coordinated by section to help everyone remember which section was which!!! They were so cute!!! I loved doing this because it was so fun to add my picture and see everyone else's. This would be perfect to use in a classroom in grade school! I think kids would really enjoy this activity!!

5) Map of Bloom's Taxonomy

The goals and objectives I used on my mind map was that I wanted to start a Business. I talked about learning how to start a business, identifying what type of business I should go into, applying my knowledge during an internship, holding myself to a higher standard, and coming up with a post grad plan that will help me succeed. I liked this activity because it helped me think about the steps I need to be successful and had them all in one place. I would use this map to look back and make sure I am on the right track!

6) Symbaloo, Wakelet, and Pinterest

Symbaloo, Wakelet, and Pinterest are all great websites! I loved working with all of these sites. Symbaloo is great to have all of your links in one place. I love this website because it is customizable and helps keep all of your favorite websites organized! I would definitely use this on a daily basis. Wakelet is the perfect website to create a collection of anything that inspires you or interest you! It allows you to fully customize and insert whatever you want into your project! I liked this because I felt that I could fully express my ideas when working on my project. I would use this to organize family vacations or even make a detailed Christmas list! We also used Pinterest! I love Pinterest because you can create mood boards of literally anything. I use Pinterest almost everyday to get inspiration and ideas about outfits and more!

7) Creating a brochure in Canva

Canva is an AMAZING app that helps you create anything you need, the options are endless. We created a brochure on Canva this semester. I loved the activity because it taught me how to use Canva. I learned how to find templates and insert images! I would use this app for anything I can think of. I use it for my job almost everyday!!

8) Canva slideshow "All about us"

This project was so much fun!!! We paired up and created a slide show in Canva that was all about you and your partner! I loved this project because we got to know our partners and everyone else in the class better. This project taught me how to share a project with someone so multiple people can edit at the same time! I would use this to make templates with my coworkers!

9) Removing background from images

For this project we walked around campus and took pictures we would like as a background. After we took our pictures we removed the background from a picture of ourselves and entered our favorite picture we took on campus. I loved this project because I was able to go into the PMAC and take a picture of the inside when there was no one in there. I use this project in my job when creating stories for the instagram showing multiple items from dillards website!

10) Canva movie

We were told to create a canva movie about anything we wanted, so I decided to do a video about when I went to visit my family in Dallas. I loved this project because I got to show the love my family has and it was very special to me. This taught me so much more about Canva, which is really exciting. I will use what I learned to make movies in the future. I could make life updates or any other kind of movie.

11) Blog

I LOVED this assignment. I love social media and everything to do with it so this was right up my alley. I have always wanted a blog so learning how to create one was so exciting! My blog was about fashion and my post was the current fashion trends. I had so much fun doing this project and I will use everything I learned in the future when I officially start my own blog!!!

12) Vocaroo

For this project, we paired up and chose a Dr. Seuss book. We recorded ourselves reading the pages. This is a great idea for children who cannot read or even people who are visually impaired. I liked the idea of this project because I can help someone by just recording myself reading. I would for sure use this in the future when I have children so all they have to do is scan the code and they can read along with me when I am not home!

13) Podcast Mp3

We created podcasts with a partner about any topic we wanted. Molli and I talked about Halloween. It was funny because she loves Halloween and I despise it. I enjoyed this project because I have never done a podcast before and it was nice getting out of my comfort zone and trying something new. I would love to make podcasts in the future and I am so thankful I now know how to create one.

14) Mobile app presentation

We were each assigned an app and had to make a presentation about it. I had Notability. I enjoyed this assignment because I learned more about an app I would have never known about. I will use this project in the future because I now use the app I reviewed!

15) Group Movie

This project was so much fun!!! We grouped up to create a movie on whatever we wanted! We did hidden talents on LSU campus! It was so cool seeing all of the different things our students could do. I loved doing this and interacting with different people on campus. This project helped me better understand how to edit a video so I will definitely use that in the future.

16) Website

We have been adding our projects into here all year and keeping everything organized. This has made it easier to find everything and keep everything in one place. I enjoyed doing this because I now know how to create a website. I will use this in the future to create a personal website.

17) Opinion on Padlet

I really enjoyed using Padlet! It was very easy to understand and use! I love the layout of the portfolio and see myself using it again. It is the perfect way to get a good glance of all the information you need to know. I prefer a layout like this over a book because I can see everything at once. There is so many opportunities for projects in Padlet I truly think it would be good for anything.

18) Greenscreen movie

For my greenscreen movie I taught how to hem a dress! I really liked this project because it was unique to everyone. I caught on pretty fast on how to edit the video. I am very happy I learned how to do this because in social media, greenscreens can be very important. I will one hundred percent use this in the future in my career.

I really enjoyed using this. It was so unique and fun to do something different! It was very easy to record but kind of difficult to edit. It was hard to get the right cut time down. I liked doing this project but the editing took alot of patience.

I really enjoyed your class! You are an amazing teacher and an even better person. I can see how much you care about each one of us and how much you love your job. To know you is to love you and I am so thankful I got to take a class with you! I am working for Dillards and plan to continue to do that till I graduate! I just changed my major to fashion merchandising so I am over the moon about that!!! Thank you so much for an amazing semester and I will for sure stay in touch!!! <3 Mjarr18@lsu.edu
