So, by being on camera, compounded with being entrusted with presenting information and discoveries, students, and really, all people, tend to put their best stuff forward. We see this on social media, as well as on Wevideo.  Additionally, when students are confused, they can refer to classmates' videos to get that "100th monkey effect " knowledge, kind of like a trend that helps everyone know how to do something better.
