Hello, my name is Mark! I work at CLUES coordinating the morning English classes (10am-12pm) and the GED classes on Tuesdays. I also teach Pronunciation class on Fridays :) I am excited to meet you all!

In my free time, I love to listen to music and DJ, read, play pool 🎱, cook & try new foods! During the warmer months, I love hiking and exploring nature. I have been to Spain many times, as well as Mexico twice :)

¡Hola! My name is Daniel, and I am originally from Costa Rica, so my first language is Spanish. I first came to the U.S. in 2023 to study at UWC-USA, an international boarding school in New Mexico. I am currently pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Linguistics with a concentration in Cognitive Science at Macalester College in Saint Paul. In my free time, I enjoy learning piano and French, making art, and exercising.

My picture is at Angkor Wat temple in Cambodia. That was from last year, and I’ll be returning in January. I will be teaching level 3 on Monday evenings, with Billie Jean.

I am TEFL certified, and recently completed a graduate certificate in learner experience design… which is about designing online learning experiences in a general way.

I’m doing training through TPRS Books. I hope to expand some of their language learning content to teach between Hindi, Khmer and English. I will be learning some Spanish beginning this fall, as part of that.

I plan to pursue a MS in technical communication after I return from 6 months in Cambodia next year. I’m also developing a website L12L2.com which might also be an app one day.
