Miranda had her mom to help around the house, Alex only had himself to take care of his two younger sisters. Another way they are different is because Alex is religious. Alex and Miranda are alike in ways where they both do whatever they had to to keep their family going. They both have siblings, and at times they both got jealous of a younger sibling. ( When Alex said Bri is probably fat as a cow)
