Gemstones and geodes peaked my interest in 2017 when I got a geode set and broke them open. Inside, there were beautiful crystals. After that I got a gemstone excavation set with an included book that talks about all the gemstones in the set. Since then, I still have been learning about lots of rocks and gemstones. I started playing violin in 2019 and have been playing for the past three years. When I started I wasn’t very good and when Covid-19 hit that didn't make it any better. During the summer that year I felt like I was not getting anywhere, so I started getting private lessons. It's not that we make bad ones, it's that we can't decide what to do. For example, we aren’t good at deciding what flavor of ice cream to get or whether or not we want to go somewhere. (The weird things that look different as you look at them from different angles) because they feel so weird when I touch them. It gives me a terrible feeling. Even by just looking at them they remind me of that terrible feeling they give me when I touch these things. Another thing about them is that they are so confusing to look at they always boggle my brain. They are like inside jokes that only we get. We say them and they are extremely funny to us.
