What is your favorite color? Do you agree with the effect they say that color can have? What is the most interesting thing you learned about color?

My favorite color is red. I do agree with what they say about color having an effect on things. I thought it was cool that warmer tones can create a more nurturing environment while cooler tones can make it more mysterious. Red is a color that can symbolize evil, anger and heat. On the contrary it can indicate life, health, courage and love. Te color red has the longest wavelength of all the colors.

This is Vincent Van Gogh's painting, "Cafe Terrace at Night", its a good representation on how the tone light can affect the feeling or emotion you get when looking at it. The terrace gives off warmer light making it welcoming to others and the city street in the back gives off a mystery type feel.

The most interesting thing i've learned about lenses is that focal length is expressed in mm and a higher number means a bigger zoom, while a lower number mean the lens can be used for wider shots.

A darkroom is used to process photographic film, to make prints and to carry out other associated tasks. It is a room that can be made completely dark to allow the processing of the light-sensitive photographic materials, including film and photographic paper. I learned that since the photo's are only sensitive to blue light, they use red light to make sure no blue light gets to the picture.

The original image is attached in another post, the purpose of this project was to use saturation and brightness adjustments in photoshop to make an image look more lively and more attractive to the human eye. So far I believe that I have made the piece more lively than it was before. I could make the trees a bit lighter and the sky lighter to make the image look overall nicer to look at, without it being too extreme. My favorite part of the image I created is the water, it looks bright and attracts the eye.
