         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Fault Tolerance</strong> – The ability of a network or system to continue operating correctly even if some components fail.</p><p><strong>Local Area Network (LAN)</strong> – A network that connects devices within a small area, like a home, school, or office.</p><p><strong>Internet Protocol (IP)</strong> – A set of rules that governs how data is sent, addressed, and routed across the internet.</p><p><strong>Fiber Optic Cable</strong> – A high-speed data transmission cable that uses light to carry information over long distances.</p><p><strong>Digital Divide</strong> – The gap between people who have easy access to the internet and technology and those who do not.</p><p><strong>Router</strong> – A device that directs data between devices on a network and connects local networks to the internet.</p><p><strong>Bandwidth</strong> – The maximum amount of data that can be transmitted over a network in a given amount of time.</p><p><strong>Computing Device</strong> – Any electronic device capable of processing data, such as a computer, tablet, smartphone, or server.</p><p><strong>Network Topology</strong> – The arrangement or layout of devices and connections in a computer network.</p><p><strong>Internet</strong> – A global system of interconnected computer networks that allows devices to communicate and share information.</p><p><strong>Redundancy</strong> – The inclusion of extra components or pathways in a network to prevent failures and maintain reliability.</p><p><strong>Wide Area Network (WAN)</strong> – A network that spans a large geographic area, often connecting multiple smaller networks.</p><p><strong>Ethernet Cord</strong> – A copper cable used to connect devices to a wired network for communication and internet access.</p><p><strong>Internet of Things (IoT)</strong> – A network of physical devices that are connected to the internet and can communicate with each other.</p><p><strong>IP Address</strong> – A unique string of numbers assigned to each device on a network, used to identify and locate it.</p><p><strong>Latency</strong> – The time it takes for data to travel from one device to another on a network.</p><p><strong>Computer Network</strong> – A group of interconnected computing devices that can share resources and exchange data.</p>]]></description>
