They tried to take flight on the 27 of January, 1967.
The mission objective was to get to the moon, but it was a test flight that failed.
They did not make it into orbit, instead they burned down where they stood; trapped inside of the burning rocket. 
One activity of the mission was to explore space.
Unfortunately, they did not make it past the launchpad. The mission objective was to land on the Fra Mauro side of the moon, but an explosion stopped them from doing so. They ended up just orbiting the moon, and the mission to land was reassigned to Apollo 14.

They orbited for five days. twenty two hours, fifty four minutes, and forty one seconds. 
The main activity of the mission was to land on the moon, but due to complications, that didn't happen.
