         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Hard to view surrounding. Have to<strong> strain neck</strong> or turn at certain angles in order <strong>to see objects</strong> and prevent running into others. &nbsp;</li><li>Signs that are <strong>high up</strong> such AS THE TOILET signs are <strong>hard to see</strong></li><li><strong>Brighter colours are more visible/ eye catching </strong>compared to others. Eg. yellow signboards</li><li>Have to always be<strong> alert </strong>while walking.&nbsp;</li><li>Might be <strong>hard for people to notice people who are partially blind&nbsp;</strong></li><li>Have to <strong>familiarize themselves to the surroundings</strong> to avoid accidents.&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Walk at a slower pace</strong> which can be time consuming</li><li>May <strong>not be aware to unforeseen circumstances</strong>.&nbsp; Eg. ball flying towards them</li><li>Rely on past experience to navigate around the area.</li><li>Have to feel the way while being anxious and rely on people if can't really see, adding on to the problem there is change in surroundings.</li><li>Buttons are&nbsp;hard to press and find because it doesn't have braille on it</li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Unable to see (cataract by pasting cut out post-its to place at the center of the glasses)<br><br>1. only able to rely on the sides of the vision such as the walls, ceiling, and floor<br>2. Sudden sounds are shocking, causing us to stop<br>3. Pressing the buttons of the lift is hard as our fingers are not sensitive enough to tell the difference hence, we had to rely on memory [there is no braille]<br>4. Narrow spaces (the toilet) are difficult to navigate and we easily hit the walls<br><br>Sensory/Mobility difference between a long-term disabled person VS someone who was just disabled.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>some challenges visually impacted individuals faced:<br>- loneliness (they often isolate themselves and doesn't go out often due to their conditions)&nbsp;<br>- lack of leisure (due to their condition, they will not be able to see the beauty and nature of the world)<br>- inaccessibility of information (some public information like sign board, mrt map, messages cant be seen by them which inhibits hteir independence)&nbsp;<br><br>observations:<br>- it is often challenging for them to do most daily activities as most thing they see are completely blurry. they are also at a risk of hurting themselves by tripping or stepping onto something sharp.<br>- daily activities like using the bathroom and eating is difficult as they aren't able to see where their things are placed.<br>- it is extremely difficult for people with visual impact to live alone<br><br>task: food preparation @ kitchen&nbsp;<br>- cant find food&nbsp;<br>- difficult to cut food (inconsistent sizes, dangerous)<br>- cooking food is difficult as we need to see whether the food is ready visually (if we have no timer)&nbsp;<br>- transferring food to plate can be dangerous as well</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>First of all time to address some pointers&nbsp;<br><br>- I am not completely blind&nbsp;<br>- My blindness is basically i cannot see fat distance&nbsp;<br>- I can see colors, the light and no details.<br><br>My experience :&nbsp;<br><br>- ererything that requires reading is insanely hard, i need to close up the distance to literally point blank range to read<br><br>- How i see is to use he colors to indicate the different zonings, for example, bathroom is blue, kitchen is brown and gray, bedroom is yellow.&nbsp;<br><br>- It is very frustrating to do work like doing journals, and typing is insanely hard to do<br><br>- Showering is not easy as i cannot gauge the temperature of the water </div>]]></description>
